Ragging is a heinous act and a criminal offence as declared by the Supreme Court of India. Akbari Begum College of Education takes immense pride in maintaining a ragging-free campus that promotes mutual respect, trust, and harmony among students.

The College has constituted an Anti-Ragging Cell comprising the Principal and senior faculty members. The Cell works proactively to prevent any form of ragging and ensures a safe and inclusive environment for all students.

Awareness is continuously created through orientation programmes, interactive sessions, and workshops conducted at the beginning of every academic year and semester. Students are also informed about the legal consequences of ragging and the importance of maintaining dignity and discipline on campus.

Our hostels are under strict supervision, ensuring that every student feels safe, respected, and valued, regardless of cultural or regional differences.
